Royal Quays Marina win Coastal Marina of the year 2023

We’re excited to announce that Royal Quays Marina have done boatfolk proud (yet again!) and won first place in The Yacht Harbour Association’s Coastal Marina of the Year for marinas over 250 berths.

Presented at the Southampton International Boat Show 2023 by The Yacht Harbor Association (TYHA), one of the oldest international yachting associations in the world. The TYHA awards, sponsored by Haven Knox-Johnson, recognise the best of Gold Anchor accredited marinas from across the world.

There were eight categories in total: The Sustainability Award (won by Haslar Marina), Coastal Marina of the Year - under 250 berths and over 250 berths, Inland Marina of the Year, International Marina of the Year, Superyacht Marina of the Year, as well as marina team of the year, and employee of the year.

Having already secured first place in 2020 and 2022, this a real testament to the marina’s continued commitment to providing its berth holders and visitors with an exceptional experience. In addition to Royal Quays Marina’s great facilities, this is also a great recognition of the hard work and dedication of the marina staff.

The great work of the team was further shown by Royal Quay’s Marina’s very own Sue Wright receiving an honourable mention in the employee of the year category after receiving an abundance of positive feedback from those voting in the awards.
