Perennially upbeat, Jess looks after all our bertholders from the first enquiry. As our local boatpoint broker she can sell you a boat, find you a berth (in her marina role), find you your next boat and then sell your last boat. She keeps a lovely Contessa 32 in the marina, and has her RYA Yachtmaster ticket under her belt.
Kev Richardson
Maintenance and Health & Safety Manager
Health & Safety hero, maintenance magician and engineering guru… Kev is our go-to man for all things mechanical. He also keeps us on the straight and narrow following our H&S policy. His current project: building an original Mini rally race car.
Josh Stickland
Berthing Master
Josh joined us in the spring, following Sue's retirement. With a serious sailing career under his belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and is always on-hand to help with anything on the pontoons or in the office. In just one season he has made himself an indispensable member of the team!
Miles Hamer
Berthing Master
Miles is a poacher turned gamekeeper having been a bertholder before (and whilst) becoming a member of the crew. Miles is a Cowes resident and Islander, and knows all the secrets. He is a mine of information of everything sailing and sailors around here, and like the rest of us, likes nothing better than helping with berthing you boats...
Mike Townshend
Marina Manager
Whether it’s scaring his longsuffering family crossing the channel or frightening his crew and the other racers on a Tuesday evening in the Solent, Mike spends as much time as possible encouraging everybody to just get afloat!
Graham Rose
Berthing Master (Part-time)
Graham is a lifelong sailor hailing from Southern Africa, but since joining us in the spring, he has slotted into his role at the marina seamlessly. Graham has special responsibility for undertaking boat checks and also reading electricity meters, so you're bound to bump into him on the pontoons!
Annette 'Nettie' Hickman
Berthing Master (Part-time)
Annette joined us in the spring, and has brought laughter and organisation to the office (and some 'banocklet' cake!). Annette has a background in superyachting so she definitely knows her nautical onions!
