One Ocean Sea School

One Ocean Sea School is a recognised RYA Powerboat Training centre, who offer a verity of courses from Level 1 and 2 through to MCA Advanced Commercial Examination. One Ocean offers own boat tuition on any vessel,and always take great pride in their training with safety as a prime focus.

Cardiff & Swansea Yachting Company

Caridff & Swansea Yachting company offer private tuition and skippered charter aboard X Beat II and Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat but also have a Sea School in Swansea which is a RYA Recognised Training Centre offering RYA Interactive courses for Essential Navigation and the VHF operator.

Paddle Boarding in the marina

SUP WALES – South Wales paddleboarding club carryout beginner & intermediate classes in Penarth Marina with WSA SUP coaches. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous then paddleboard yoga is great fun. For more information visit SUP Wales.

Fishing out of Penarth Marina

Penarth Marina enjoys a well deserved reputation for being one of the most productive and popular charter boat ports in the country, notably for the quality of the autumn and winter cod fishing experienced at the eastern end of the Bristol channel.

We have a great selection of charter fishing boats operating from the marina.

We love being able to support the Penarth Sea Cadets to help them get afloat. The Sea cadets provide a range of activities  and experiences in a safe and friendly environment.

Challenge Wales

We love being home to Challenge Wales and Adventure Wales. Challenge Wales is a charity that run adult and child sailing adventures from day trips to longer residential trips. The award winning charity work with young people helping to develop their life skills to improve their employment prospects and looking for a challenge and focus in their lives.
