Helensburgh Boat Trips

Helensburgh Boat trips run regular scheduled trips in the spring/summer season.   We offer a comfortable, stable boat with outdoor & warm indoor seating for all 12 passengers, a toilet, and complimentary tea, coffee & local Helensburgh tablet.

Rhu Junior sailing

Junior Sailing

Calling all young sailors! From beginners to more advanced, aged 8 to 16-year-olds. Join the Junior sailing classes held at the marina throughout the summer. Thursday evenings from  April–June (inclusive) 16:00-18:30 – Learn to Sail (Working on RYA Stages 1-4) 18:00-20:30 – Specialised Sailing (Race Training and Seamanship skills).  Visit the Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club.

 Autism on the water is a charity fully committed to raising awareness of the Autistic Spectrum through the sport of Sailing and helping autistic people to access sailing. They pride themselves in being present at some of Scotland's top regattas to raise awareness. With 5 boats in their fleet, they also aim to assist autistic people to access sailing. Follow them on Facebook

 

Teamwork at Rhu Marina

The Clyde is a mecca for yacht racing and Rhu Marina is perfectly positioned to take part in the East Patch Racing between Helensburgh and Greenock. April to September there are 4 series every Wednesday evening. The series is open to all and you will be made very welcome. 

Helensburgh Sailing Club

Helensburgh Sailing Club is a lively, family-orientated club. HSC has hosted major championships since the 1950s for, amongst others, Enterprise, GP14, Fireball, Albacore, Mirror, 420, Sonata, and Sigma 33 classes. Prime sailing from Rhu Marina every Thursday evening just a mile or so southeast of the club.  Visit Helensburgh Sailing Club.

Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club

The home of sailing since 1824, RNCYC a club with a fantastic heritage and modern outlook. They encourage and support sailing together with a wide range of water-based activities and associated facilities for sporting, recreational and social use. The Club attracts racing events which are facilitated at Rhu Marina.  Visit Royal Northern and Clyde Yacht Club.

Rhu RC Laser Club

Rhu Radio Lasers sail at Rhu Marina. They have a weekly race day on Thursday Afternoons 1.30 to 3:30 pm. A friendly group who sail RC lasers, new members welcome as are visitors to come and sail in this great location.  Visit Rhu RC Laser Club.
