Join us on the Sunday morning of our boatfolk Big Weekend 2024 for a fabulous performance from two local choirs.
Expect sea shanties, well-known Geordie songs, sing-a-long favourites, songs from the shows and much more from the massed choir of more than 100 local voices!

We're delighted to welcome The Linskill Community Choir and Backworth Male Voice Choir to Royal Quays Marina on the morning of Sunday 18th August
Expect sea shanties, well-known Geordie songs, sing-a-long favourites, songs from the shows and much more from our massed choir of more than 100 local voices!
The programme will celebrate the maritime and mining heritage of the area with both songs of the sea and music from the mines.
This FREE concert is part of the Royal Quays Marina Big Weekend 2024.
All welcome to come along and enjoy music from these two local choirs.
Some seating outdoor will be available but feel free to bring your own folding chairs if you prefer.
Refreshments will be available from The Lock bar/bistro, or bring a picnic.
