boatfolk secure second place in the Southampton International Boat Show sustainability award

We are thrilled to announce that boatfolk have been awarded second place in the prestigious Exhibitor Sustainability Awards 2024 at the Southampton International Boat Show . Having placed in the top three for the past three years, this recognision is a testament to our commitment to looking after our planet and making sure we use our platform at the boat show as a way to encourage sustainability in the boatfolk community and beyond. 

Some of our environmentally concious activities at the show include:

• Choosing plastic-free environmentally focused Sea Change wine as our supplier
• Providing a platform for charities and organisations to speak about sustainability with our boatfolk stage
• Taking an eco-concious approach to boat maintenance with an exciting announcement taking place on Wednesday 18th at 3pm
• Taking the boat show's sustainability pledge

The judges for this year's awards included Hannah Stodel, 4 x Paralympian, Triple World Champion and Joseph Penhaul Smith and British Marine President and Ed Tuite, with Sunsail securing the first place spot.
