A great coastal walk from the northern tip of the marina down to the old town Clevedon. It’s easy going with great views and a couple of watering holes on the way. If the legs are hurting get the bus back, easy.
Portishead’s Lido
The Lido is a favourite spot for a swim and sunbathe. 10 mins walk from the marina you will find the Lido on the lake grounds opposite the boating pond and cricket pitch. There is a lovely café / bar on site with beautiful views of sugar loaf bay.
This is a very easy and convenient way to get to Bristol from our doorstep. There is everything you can want from the delicatessen of Clifton village to the shopping nirvana of Cabot circus.

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm
Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is a 100-acre (40 ha) zoo developed on a working farm in Wraxall, North Somerset. It is just 6 miles (9.7 km) west of Bristol and promotes a form of creationism that includes a belief that the biblical story of Noah's Flood was an actual cataclysmic event.
After buying Tyntes Place for his growing family in 1844, William Gibbs went about making it his own. He remodelled the exterior of the simple regency house into the Gothic extravaganza that exists today and had the interiors richly decorated and furnished by the country's leading craftsmen.
