Your guide to berthing with us this year

Marina Office: 01305 866190 and VHF Ch.80.

Boatcare Office: 01305 818550

Boatpoint Office: 01305 818541

There's lots to shout about at Portland Marina, as you'll find out below, so instead of sending a ton of paper out to you as we have in previous years, we thought we'd save a few trees (or maybe a small forest...) and do things digitally for 2025.

Scroll down and you'll find everything you need to know about berthing with us this year.

You will need to pop into the Marina Office to pick up your Harbour Dues sticker the next time you're going down to the boat, and our new berth holders also have a few more bits ready and waiting for when you arrive, such as your access fob.

Berth holder benefits and exclusive offers

All boatfolk berth holders around our 11 marinas have access to our standard benefits package, but we also have local offers for Portland berth holders. Simply let the businesses know you have an annual berth at Portland Marina and confirm your boat name and berth;

Managing your parking permits

Car Parking

As a valued berth holder, you are able to park in either our annual berth holder car park or our visitor car park (in front our dry stack) which are both controlled by Automatic Number Plate Recognition. We also have our Mereside car park which is designed for larger vehicles, and long term stays. This is also controlled by ANPR. It is just off the marina site and accessed by turning right at the painted roundabout on the approach to the marina, then immediately left.

As a berth holder, you are able to list 5 registrations on your account but only 2 of the 5 vehicles can be parked on site free of charge at any one time.

Managing your electricity usage

BerthMaster Online

Berths on piers G to T, which includes our visitors area, are on a metered sytem and invoices will be sent to you monthly.

For berth holders on piers B, C and D and if you're using power in the yard, you'll be on the BerthMaster Online system and will be able to manage your electricity usage online through their web app. To set up your account, follow the link below to detailed instructions and a how-to video.

Likeminded folk who love BBQ's and boats!

Portland Yacht Club

We're lucky to have a thriving yacht club at the marina with Commodore David Barton at the helm. Most members are fellow berth holders, but there's no requirement to even be a boat owner, PYC is simply a group of people who love getting together to go boating or talk about their boating adventures (or both!), preferably whilst enjoying a BBQ in the sunshine!

Membership is only £10 and there's no joining fees!

Going digital

The boatfolk app

In our bid to reduce our environmental impact, we've gone digital and created the boatfolk app. You can view everything you need to know about the marina and your account with us through the app.

You'll need to know your registration token and use the email address your account has been set up with, which we can send through to you. Once you've set-up your login, you can download the app and log into that with the same credentials.
