Portland Week 2024 - The boatfolk Big Weekend MV Freedom Harbour Trips

MV Freedom is a custom built motor catamaran specifically designed to take those living with disability or mobility issues and their family, friends and carers for trips afloat. The boat is operated by Friends of MV Freedom a local charity based in Weymouth. For Portland Week 2024 they have kindly offered to join us again for trips from the marina out into Portland Harbour over the boatfolk Big Weekend 👏🏼

Each trip will last approximately 30 minutes around Portland Harbour, you might even get lucky and spot some of the local wildlife!

The charity would like to prioritise those living with disability or mobility issues along with their family, friends and carers for the trips, but if there is space, you can still jump onboard and go out on a trip, however they would greatly appreciate a donation towards the running costs of the boat. 

MV Freedom can carry up to 6 wheelchair users per trip. Children from age 5 years + can be accommodated onboard.
