Portland Week 2024 - Seaweed Quiz

Join us for a fun quiz to test your seaweed knowledge! A mix of fun facts about macro algae (seaweed), their role in the marine environment and how they can save the planet! Yes, really!!!

Teams of 2 to 6 people. Why not gather your work mates and enter as a company? Or grab your mates and family and come on down to pit your wits against the other teams!

Seaweed has superpowers, from solving world hunger to cleaning our oceans of nasty pollutants, it can also help solve the plastic pollution crisis by providing an alternative to single use plastics. So whilst this is a quiz to test your knowledge, we're certain you'll learn just as much, if not more by taking part! It's also the perfect opportunity to enjoy the sunshine on Salt's terrace with a post-work pint (or anything cold!). Afterwards we'll be heading into the Portland Week Meeting of Minds, a panel of experts from various fields of marine conservation gathering to discuss marine regeneration and blue carbon, you're more than welcome to join us!

If the weather chooses to be inclement, we'll meet at the event marquee and head into the Portland Week workshop area instead. But fingers crossed for sunshine!
